Jim Davis Signs with Fighter's Guard Management
Fighter’s Guard Management, an independent MMA management agency based out of Cincinnati, Ohio is pleased to announce that up and coming heavyweight prospect Jim Davis (0-1 MMA) has recently signed on with the company, which will now be representing him in regards to personal business matters, sponsorship opportunities, and publicity as he attempts to make the next step toward increasing his exposure and making a run towards MMA superstardom in the coming years. Although he came up short in his professional debut against UFC veteran Dan “The Sandman” Christison, Davis is well known on the local circuit for inspiring fans with his aggressive, exciting striking style. Prior to turning professional, Davis had wracked up an undefeated 7-0 mark as an amateur in the super heavyweight division, where he won the amateur ICF championship, with his longest bout lasting just 38 seconds. Standing 6’4” and fighting out of Team Vision, Davis seems poised for big things as his professional career moves forward, and FGM is proud to be representing him. “Jim is just a fun guy. He is very intimidating to look at but is truly a genuinely upstanding guy. He makes things fun as he is always cracking jokes and very outgoing. He is a sponsor’s dream, often going out of his way to thank and promote his sponsors. Inside the cage Jim is very athletic for his size and has very good hands. When he gets into the heavyweight division, look out. The sky is truly the limit.” – Scott Dryden, President of Fighter’s Guard Management. In addition to managing his fighting schedule, appearances, and competitive responsibilities within the sport of MMA, FGM will also be working diligently on behalf of Davis in order to both create new business opportunities—including high-level sponsorships—as well as expanding and maintaining existing professional business relationships. Fighter’s Guard Management was founded as a joint operation between Scott Dryden, MBA, Editor-in-Chief of ProFighting-fans.com and his good friend Tim Morris, who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 and received a Juris Doctorate from Salmon P Chase College of Law in 2004. Together, Scott and Tim founded Fighter’s Guard Management in order to create a buffer between the fighter and everyone else in the business of fight promotion that could be responsible for distractions. At Fighter’s Guard Management, we are in your corner. Contact Fighter’s Guard Management today or visit us at http://www.fightersguard.com/ for more information or to request representation.
