Roger Bowling

Relentless isn’t just a nickname instead it is an accurate description of MMA welterweight Roger Bowling. Bowling is known for is tireless work ethic as much as he is for his explosiveness in the cage. Roger is meticulous with his diet, MMA training and his conditioning.

Bowling has gone from rough surroundings in a small town to becoming one of the brightest young stars in the sport. Bowling has gone 7-0 in his young career which includes six victories via TKO or KO. In his first 6 fight not a single opponent managed to get out of the first round with the dynamic Bowling who has won the RFL and MMA Big Show Welterweight Titles. Roger is now competing for Strikeforce in the welterweight division where his goal is simple, to hold the Strikeforce Welterweight Title.

In his Strikeforce debut at the May 21, 2010 ShoMMA Challengers event Bowling faced a difficult and experienced opponent in "Vicious" Bobby Voelker. Bolwing dominated the first two rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory to improve his record to 8-0. Said Showtime MMA announcer Mauro Ranallo, "...Roger Bowling has all the ingredients to be a huge star in the sport.” Scott Coker, CEO of Strikeforce said of the event “We saw two potentially great forces emerge in our welterweight division with Tarec Saffiedine and Roger Bowling.”
